Alright, enough of my giddy, Autumnal ranting. I wanted to bring attention to Halloween. One of my favorite holidays. Well, it used to be before the damned, greedy retail monsters took over and tried to make us buy stupid, made in China costumes, candy that is filled with HFCS and what is up with these stupid, Halloween trees? I remember having so much fun making decorations and costumes. Once, my family even made our own haunted house in the barn and invited neighbors over. It was great.
I'd like to challenge everyone who reads this to try and have a Green Halloween.

Bake goodies for friends, have a jack o lantern carving party, bob for apples and make your own costumes.

I'm planning on dressing in black and scaring trick or treaters. I like tricks over sugary treats.
If that doesn't work out I'd like to have friends over for good food, beer and swapping ghost stories.

So lets get back to simple, fun, creative holidays and spend more time with friends and family and less time and money shopping for junk that will only end up clogging the landfill.
Love your Mother!
