Urban pond!

I love my tiny, backyard!
My garden is flourishing and I'm getting Spring fever.
Yes, I know it's the end of January but this is Tucson and Spring comes mighty early here. It's been raining and the soil smells so wonderful!
A friend came over one night and while conversing in the backyard. I had an epiphany. I need a small pond with plants and minnows.
It's going to be lovely! I've done the research and can do it on the cheap.

By Summer, my yard will be a cool, colorful place to meditate, BBQ, visit and hang my laundry.
Oh, and there will be shade cloth to keep the blazing sun from scorching everything. It will be an oasis. So what if it's small? Bigger isn't necessarily better.

Isn't it about time we all started enjoying simpler, smaller pleasures?
